Are you an experienced Cabmaster Designer? Do you have a strong understanding of kitchen design? Are you disciplined and organised? This role could be for you.

Due to the growth of our business, we are looking for a Draftsperson/ Cabmaster Designer with extensive experience in the industry to join our team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and has the want to succeed. Craftmark wants to give every opportunity to promote within and find leaders to keep driving our success and be part of this exciting journey.

This role for the right candidate would potentially progress into further management positions.

About the role

Your background:

  • Competency in the cabinetmaking industry - Trade qualified in cabinet making/ joinery/ shop fitting an advantage
  • High level of experience with the manufacture of joinery components
  • Previous skill set in detailed joinery and competent in detailed hardware installation
  • In depth understanding of Cabmaster, Enroute and job management systems
  • Extensive experience and understanding of joinery construction methods
  • Full working rights within Australia
  • Current NSW Drivers license

  • Team player but also the ability to work autonomously when required
  • Work health and safety focused
  • Exceptional eye for detail and understanding of joinery construction.
  • Contributor to productivity
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, BOQs and FF&Es
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Competent is using technology such as Excel and Jobman an advantage
  • In depth understanding of Blum hardware an advantage
  • In depth understanding of materials available in the Australian market

Duties:

  • Ensure all drawings are to customers specifications
  • Provide detailed drawings, plans and renders to our client base.
  • Employ sound industry knowledge to represent the best interests of the business and our client base.
  • Ensure drawing deadlines are met
  • Process projects through Enroute to our CNC machines
  • Assist other teammates and factory staff with problem solving
  • Communicate with clients on their current and future projects
